1. I say the word "badass" a lot. I can deal.

I work at a dog daycare. (I've noticed that a lot of people in Milwaukee seem to as well.) I have for about a year now. Letâ??s start off with an introduction; Hi, Iâ??m John! Some key pieces of information about me are available at the top of your browser and on the left. There is one piece of information up top that is not entirely accurate. I am transsexual, so Iâ??m in the process of changing my gender from male to female. Also Iâ??m really only interested in females, so Iâ??m not sure if that means Iâ??m straight or lesbian since Iâ??m technically still male, but whatever.

Job: Right now I own a comic book store, but Iâ??m getting ready to sell it either this year or next. It may seem like an easy job and if you come into the store it looks like weâ??re screwing around all the time. But I actually work about 50-55 hours a week. Itâ??s not a bad job, the pay is decent, ok benefits, but after doing it for 14 years, Iâ??m bored.

School: I just started going back to school part time at MATC for my business administration degree. I did college one back in the mid 1990s, but dropped out due to failing calculus and I didnâ??t feel like going to school at the time. Once I sell my business I will be going back full time to get my degree from UWM.

I like to have fun with family and friends and do random things in the moment! I love to travel last year I went to Africa on safari and hung in Cape Town for a week! It was proably the all time greatest trip I have ever been on. I am very spontaneous and like to do crazy things in the moment. One time I was on a trip in cabo and decided to go sky diving. It seems that the best decisions I have ever made are made in the moment and I tend to trust my gut which is usually right. I have a lot of friends and enjoy spending time with them either sitting around drinking a bottle of wine or going out and doing something.

Hello, I'm looking to meet someone smart and maybe a little unconventional. I'd like to find a great conversationalist with a lot of intellectual curiosity. I'm a bit quiet and reserved, so it takes a little effort to get to know me, but I like to think that once you break the ice thereâ??s a lot of depth underneath.

My hobby is composing and recording music. If you can sing or play an instrument, maybe I'll stick you in a song! I have esoteric musical tastes and mainly listen to heavy metal, progressive rock, and classical, with a lot of my favorite modern bands coming from the Scandinavian scene.

I've lived in Milwaukee for three years working as a stock analyst. Iâ??m not a sports fan, but I do stay in shape. I enjoy being out in nature and hiking through scenic areas.

I'm just a laid back guy who is just loving life! I teach Pilates (a mind/body method of body conditioning). I work a lot and enjoy it, and like people who are self motivated and have a positive outlook on life. I enjoy the outdoors, cooking, wine, reading and film. I also have an active spiritual practice.

Uh..... I'm not really a girl who likes to talk about herself or knows what to say, ya right I know crazy huh, a girl who doesn't like to talk about herself but its actually true! I guess I'll start with facts, I'm a cake decorator at a bakery, eventually I want my own business and make wedding cakes for famous ppl. I'm a pretty indepent person, I have my own apartment, I live alone, I have a car, pay my own bills (mommy and daddy still pay for insurance but thats common). I have 2 jobs, well one is my career and the other I work as a server at one of the top 30 restraunts in Milwaukee for some cash. Ugh..... I dunno, I guess..... I love to stay in and watch movies blah blah blah but usually only one the week days unless Ive had a super hectic week but that gives me all the more reason to go out and have fun on the weekends!! I usually only go out one night a week but I get pretty drunk on that one night. I'm a very fun drunk, I get crazy but in the good way, or embarassing way, depending on what kind of person YOU are! I dunno, if ya wanna know anything else about me just ask, Im a very open person!

What to say about myself? I enjoy people with opinions! I love a good conversation even though I don't invest myself in them i.e. I play devil's advocate 90% of the time. I love theater, I better since it's one of my majors. I'm a major geek! I love anime, manga, video games, and random internet references, but I can talk about other things and I often do.

When it comes to people, I'm a bit shy at first but once I get to know you it's like we've been friends for years, or at least that's how I'll act. I don't like up tight people since they're no fun but at the same time crazy/wild people are a head ache. Basically I just need people who know how to have a good time sitting on a park bench talking about whatever comes to mind. haha.

I'd do more stuff if someone dragged me along and I can have fun just about anywhere. I don't like making decisions for people so planning outings is not my strong suit but bouncing ideas off of me works.

I have this thing about alcohol. We're not friends and we never plan to be, so yeah I don't drink. I have no interest really in that whole 'Lets get wasted' scene and prefer to enjoy my liver and memories. On that note however I don't have a problem with people out drinking as long as it's in moderation. I can have fun at a party and be completely sober. People often think I drink since I act drunk when I'm around drunk people, it's a weird habit... I know...

Not quit sure what to write, so here goes - You might think all librarians are old ladies with glasses, hair pulled back and ssshhing everyone- wrong. Some of us like to go out dancing, have a drink or two, attend festivals, concerts, plays, and so much more. We've always got a good story for you. We might now allow food and drink in the library, but we do enjoy a good meal with friends. It's not always quiet in the library, so we do enjoy quiet time at home in the backyard or on a beach.

I was brought forth into this world by strange circumstances, and it didn't get any better from there on. I was brought up in many countries so I've always felt like I have no real origin like most people do. Still, I find a lot of joy on simple things and will never say no to learning something new.

I like Harold and Maude, I read a lot, I make graphic novels because I have not been able to write, I am a really good nanny, and you probably want me on your side when it all goes down.

I just moved to Bay View in Milwaukee and am looking to meet some awesome new people. I am interested in both dating and friendship but think it's ridiculous to take the "dating scene" too seriously.
